As a solo traveller venturing with my children, I appreciated the hotel's inviting atmosphere-ideal for creating shared memories. The games room was a hit, keeping the young ones entertained while we relaxed with a pint. The carvery stood out, boasting hearty flavours that reminded me of home-bringing a touch of Ireland to our table. Breakfasts, too, offered variety and taste. While the road noise crept in at times, the warmth from the staff and the comfort of our clean rooms ensured a restful night. For families seeking a place with accommodating amenities, the Anchor delivers both serenity and fun, making it a worthwhile stop in our travel adventures.
